Wind Turbine Course in Cambridge
A successful course was run where we built a 1.8m 300W turbine and tower over the weekend in Cambridge from the 5th - 7th June 2009. Pictures from the course
Transition Derby Event
A turbine was assembled and erected at Meynell Langley Farm near Derby on the 5th of June. It was an awareness raising event to show the possibilities of hand built wind turbines.
Solar Courses at Ecoworks
- Solar Panel Installation - One day course in installing a solar panels at St. Ann's Allotments, Nottingham on the 13th June.
- Solar Water Heater Building - Two day course on building a passive solar water heater. at St. Anne's Allotments on the 18th and 19th of July

Welsh Wind Workshop
Early September there will be a 7-10 day course on an organic farm focused on building a Hugh Piggott turbine. The idea so far is an integrated wind turbine workshop, food growing basics workshop to give a sense of possible self-sufficiency in energy and food supply.
